Orion is a deep petrol blue, close to teal-navy, set against a silvery grey. The design is a run of small arches and blocks: the blue parts are cut velvet with a real sheen, while the pale ground is a flat, pebbly weave, so the pattern stands up from the background. The velvet looks almost black in shadow and bright teal where the light hits it. The piping is teal.
It's a strong, tailored cushion. I'd use it on a grey or stone sofa with plain navy or teal velvet, and a touch of ochre or mustard nearby brings it to life.
