White Pepper is a warm pewter grey rather than a true silver. The jacquard ground has a soft sheen and is scattered all over with small ivory flecks that stand slightly proud of the surface, so from across the room it reads as a speckled, pebbly texture rather than a pattern. The satin piping matches the ground, so the edge stays quiet.
It does the job of a plain but with more life in it. I'd put it on a grey or oatmeal sofa next to charcoal velvet or a busier pattern, where it softens the group without bringing in another colour.
A 50 × 50 cm cushion from Black Edition’s Zafaro cushion collection, in a linen-blend jacquard weave with satin piping. Supplied with a feather pad. Panels are cut at random from the fabric, so the pattern placement may differ slightly from the photo. See all Black Edition cushions
