Plaster is mostly white linen, with long, loose brushstrokes in taupe, putty grey, a soft olive-gold and one or two darker charcoal marks. The strokes taper and bend like reeds, and the colour is uneven inside each one, so it looks painted by hand rather than printed. A taupe piping finishes the edge.
It's a light, airy pattern that works well in a pale room or on a white sofa. I'd use it with plain linen in stone or oatmeal, or with a soft olive velvet to pick up the gold strokes.
