Despite the name, Mehndi reads as clay and rose rather than green. Rounded shapes in terracotta pink, dusty rose and mushroom grey stack up over an off-white linen, with a patch of ochre in the lower corner and a thin dark line for contrast. Like the other colours it has a soft, brushed look, and the linen texture takes the edge off the colour. The piping is brown.
It's lovely with plaster pinks, rust and warm whites, and it softens a chocolate or charcoal sofa. I'd use it with a plain terracotta or taupe cushion rather than another pattern.
