Monochrome is a charcoal and ivory check, but the rectangles are broken by fine stripes and the edges have a soft, painted quality, so it looks hand-made rather than graphic.
A neat long cushion for the front of a plain sofa or across a bed, and it sits well with other black and white pieces.
Checkerboard is a 60 × 30 cm cushion from Kirkby Design’s Formation collection. Alternating rectangles are broken by fine stripes, and the watercolour effect of the original hand-painted artwork is kept in the digital print, on 100% recycled cotton. Supplied with a feather pad.
