Saddle is a rich chestnut brown with a red cast, nearer to conker or polished leather than to chocolate. The cream stripes stand out more strongly against it than on the paler Knight colours, and the deep chenille pile gives the brown real depth.
I’d use it with rust, tobacco and terracotta for a warm seventies mix, or on its own against a stone or oatmeal sofa where it gives the arrangement some weight.
