Pink Sand is a soft blush chequered with a paler sand, gentle and warm with a light sheen on the satin squares.
Pretty with rust, terracotta and cream, and it softens a grey or charcoal sofa without looking sugary.
Racer is a 60 × 30 cm cushion from Kirkby Design’s Graphic Nature collection, inspired by the grid of salt pans. It’s a chequered jacquard where satin areas of responsibly sourced viscose sit against matt areas of organic and recycled cotton, so the pattern shows as much through sheen as through colour. Supplied with a feather pad. See all Kirkby Design cushions
