Lune in peacock by Black Edition. Large watercolour circles drift across the fabric and overlap where they meet, in soft teal, sea green and mineral grey on a pale ground. It is warp printed first and then jacquard woven, which is why the colour looks diffused into the surface rather than sitting on top of it, and why the weave shows through the pattern.
Backed and piped in a plain textured teal that picks up the deepest colour in the print.
Available in two rectangular sizes, 40 x 60cm and 50 x 60cm. Corners are tapered, fabric edges are overlocked and there is an invisible zip along the bottom edge. Handmade in my Devon workroom, available with or without a feather pad.
Only a small number of covers were cut from this length of fabric, so once they have gone they will not be repeated.
Quiet from a distance and interesting close to. It suits a room with plenty of natural light, and the greens sit easily with linen, oak and anything greyish.
