Dune, petrol
Dune in petrol by Casamance. A plain with a lot going on in it: a loose, slubby linen weave in a soft petrol blue, where warp and weft read as slightly different shades so the colour shifts as the light moves across it. Raw and open rather than smooth, which is what stops a plain from looking flat.
It has a fluid drape, so the cushion settles into a chair rather than standing to attention.
Self piped in the same fabric, which keeps the edge clean without bringing in a second colour.
Available as a 45 x 45cm square and a 40 x 60cm rectangle. Corners are tapered, fabric edges are overlocked and there is an invisible zip along the bottom edge. Handmade in my Devon workroom, available with or without a feather pad.
This is the cushion to put next to a pattern. Petrol is deep enough to hold its own against a print and quiet enough not to argue with it, and it works with both the blues and the greens in the collection.
This same fabric backs our Lune Peacock cushion, so if you love this colour, the two make a lovely matching pair.
Care Instructions
The irregularities and shade variations are characteristic of the fabric. Exact colour matching to previous orders cannot be guaranteed. Dry cleaning recommended.
