Despite the name, Emeraude is a blue rather than an emerald: a mid teal blue with a slightly weathered, denim-like quality. Against it the black stitch line looks very graphic.
Linen is Maison Casamance's pure linen cushion. The washed linen has a relaxed, natural texture, and each cover is finished with a black bourdon stitch around the edge and a single line down the centre. The reverse is plain linen in the same colour, without the centre line, so the whole cover is Emeraude on both sides. It closes with an invisible zip.
I particularly like it with mustard and rust. Linen in Moutarde beside it makes a strong, cheerful pairing.
