Buff is a soft putty beige velvet with the same fine, feathery lines worked over it in a paler tone. The pattern is very gentle here, more a texture than a design, and it moves as the pile catches the light. A thin dark brown piping gives the edge a crisp line.

A useful neutral when a plain velvet feels too flat. It sits well with stone, mushroom and warm white, and the brown piping ties it to dark timber or leather.
