Bleu Nuit is a deep midnight navy. On the ribs the pile catches the light in fine blue lines, so it looks richer than a flat navy, and the grey braid stops the edge disappearing into the colour.
A grounding cushion. I'd put it with Moutarde or Terre de Sienne for contrast, or on a pale stone or cream sofa where it gives the arrangement some weight.
Opulence is Maison Casamance's ribbed velvet cushion, made in the Netherlands. It's woven with a shrinkable weft yarn that gives the cloth its structure, so it looks like corduroy velvet. Each cover has a braided edge, a natural plain linen reverse and an invisible zip. Maison Casamance are discontinuing Opulence, so stocks are low. Once it's gone, it's gone.
