Lin is a pale oatmeal cream, the colour of undyed linen. The ribs break it into fine lighter and darker lines, so up close it has more going on than a flat cream, and the grey braid round the edge gives it a soft outline.
It's the quiet one in the range. I'd use it to calm down stronger colours, next to Terre de Sienne or Moutarde, or on a rust or brown sofa where a white cushion would look too stark.
Opulence is Maison Casamance's ribbed velvet cushion, made in the Netherlands. It's woven with a shrinkable weft yarn that gives the cloth its structure, so it looks like corduroy velvet. Each cover has a braided edge, a natural plain linen reverse and an invisible zip. Maison Casamance are discontinuing Opulence, so stocks are low. Once it's gone, it's gone.
