Teal is a deep blue-green basket weave flecked with cream and grey, so it has the look of a heavy tweed. The fringe along two sides is in the same mix of yarns, giving the cushion a soft, frayed edge instead of a hard line.
It's a strong colour that still feels muted. I'd pair it with ochre, camel or rust, and it looks particularly good against natural linen or a tan leather sofa.
A 55 × 55 cm cushion from Black Edition’s Tsauri cushion collection, in a textured decorative weave with fringed side edges. Supplied with a feather pad. See all Black Edition cushions
