Avocet is black on white, and nothing else. Two big dry-brush strokes sweep in from the edges, heavy where the brush was loaded and breaking into fine streaks where it ran dry, leaving most of the bright white ground clear. The jacquard has a slight sheen, and the black piping frames it neatly.
It's graphic, so it needs space around it. I'd use one on a white, grey or black sofa, or with plain black and chalk cushions, and let the brushwork be the only pattern.
