Cayenne is a check in rust, burnt orange, charcoal and cream. The pattern is built into the velvet, with a broken, herringbone-like texture inside each band, so it reads more like a heavy tweed or a woven blanket than a printed check. The rust piping picks out the edge.

A good autumn cushion that stays useful all year. I'd put it with chocolate, olive or navy, or on a tan leather sofa where the rust picks up the warmth of the hide.
