Capucin is Misia Paris's printed cotton velvet, a troop of acrobatic monkeys swinging across the velvet. Parme is the soft mauve colourway, lighter and more playful than the aubergine, and it keeps the pattern legible rather than letting it sink into the ground.
30 x 40cm, handmade in my Devon workroom with tapered corners, overlocked edges and an invisible zip along the bottom edge.
Cut from a limited length of fabric, so very few are made.
Mauve wants company rather than isolation. Put it with grey linen, soft green or a chalky white, and keep the cushions either side plain so the monkeys have room.
Composition: 88% cotton, 12% polyester.
Care: dry clean recommended. Due to the handcrafted nature of the fabric, slight irregularities and shade variations are characteristic and not considered faults. Exact colour matching to previous orders cannot be guaranteed.
