Circles and Squares comes from the Florence Broadhurst archive, hand printed in Australia by Signature Prints using her original screens. This is the neutral colourway on a biscuit hopsack, so the geometry reads as texture and shadow rather than as contrast. Piped in a neutral plain.

40 x 68cm, handmade in my Devon workroom with tapered corners, overlocked edges and an invisible zip along the bottom edge.

Hand printed fabric comes in short lengths, so this is a small run. There are other sizes and designs in the collection that mix and match with it.

A geometric worked in one colour family is the most forgiving pattern there is. It will sit beside a floral or a stripe without arguing, and it holds a neutral scheme together rather than interrupting it.
