Don Stripe, green
Don Stripe is a Sahco design, a railroad stripe that runs across the width of the fabric rather than down it, worked in many close shades rather than two contrasting ones. It is a quiet stripe, which is the useful kind. This is the green colourway, soft browns and creams with green running through it.
30 x 63cm, piped, handmade in my Devon workroom with tapered corners, overlocked edges and an invisible zip along the bottom edge.
Cut from a limited length of fabric, so very few are made.
A long thin rectangle sits differently from a square, and a stripe this restrained will break up a row of plain cushions without starting an argument between patterns. It is the one to reach for when a sofa looks flat.
Cushion pad: 100% duck feather.
Care: dry clean recommended. Due to the handcrafted nature of the fabric, slight irregularities and shade variations are characteristic and not considered faults. Exact colour matching to previous orders cannot be guaranteed.
