EMBRUN
Embrun in mandarin by Camengo. A watercolour stripe printed on linen, broad bands of burnt orange bleeding into slate blue and soft grey with white space left between them, the edges soft as though the colour had been washed on wet.
Piped in a plain neutral, which frames the print and keeps the edges crisp.
55 x 55cm square. Corners are tapered, fabric edges are overlocked and there is an invisible zip along the bottom edge. Handmade in my Devon workroom, available with or without a feather pad.
Only one cover was cut from this length of fabric, so once it has gone it will not be repeated.
Orange and blue sit opposite each other on the colour wheel, which is why this one lifts a quiet room so easily. It works against grey and off white, and it is the cushion to reach for when a scheme has gone a little too safe.
Care Instructions
The irregularities and shade variations are characteristic of the fabric. Exact colour matching to previous orders cannot be guaranteed. Dry cleaning recommended.
