Faded Denim Velvet by Kravet. A cotton velvet in deep indigo, rubbed back to a chalky pale blue in patches so it looks like a pair of jeans that has been worn for years. The faded effect is built into the fabric rather than being actual wear, but it behaves the same way and it only gets better looking as the cushion is used.
The same velvet front and back, so there is no wrong side to it.
Available as a 35 x 60cm and a 40 x 50cm rectangle. Corners are tapered, fabric edges are overlocked and there is an invisible zip along the bottom edge. Handmade in my Devon workroom, available with or without a feather pad.
Only a small number of covers were cut from this length of fabric, so once they have gone they will not be repeated.
Denim is a neutral in most houses. This sits with cream, grey, tan and any of the other blues in the collection, and a velvet is the quickest way to stop a plain sofa looking flat.
Care: dry clean recommended. Due to the handcrafted nature of the fabric, slight irregularities and shade variations are characteristic and not considered faults. Exact colour matching to previous orders cannot be guaranteed.
