Japanese Floral from the Florence Broadhurst archive, hand printed in Australia by Signature Prints using her original screens. Large chrysanthemum heads in chalk white, each one drawn with a fine green outline and set on a tall stem, scattered across an olive green ground.
Hand printing gives a depth of colour and a slight unevenness across the repeat that a digital print cannot reproduce. Look along the length and you can see where one screen pull meets the next.
Backed in a plain olive and self piped, so the print is the only thing doing any work.
40 x 60cm rectangle, handmade in my Devon workroom with tapered corners, overlocked edges and an invisible zip along the bottom edge. Available with or without a feather pad.
