A grid of squares, each one split into triangles, where a raised plain rib in pale oyster alternates with a marbled jacquard in sea green, charcoal and a sharp chartreuse. The pattern is entirely woven, so the rib stands up and the marbled triangles sink back, and the geometry shifts depending on where you stand.
Backed and piped in Burgos fern, a plain green that picks the sea green out of the weave.
35 x 50cm rectangle. Corners are tapered, fabric edges are overlocked and there is an invisible zip along the bottom edge. Handmade in my Devon workroom, available with or without a feather pad.
Only a small number of covers were cut from this length of fabric, so once they have gone they will not be repeated.
The chartreuse is what keeps this one from being a polite neutral. It works against warm greys and greens, and it will hold its own next to a stronger pattern rather than disappearing.
Care: dry clean recommended. Due to the handcrafted nature of the fabric, slight irregularities and shade variations are characteristic and not considered faults. Exact colour matching to previous orders cannot be guaranteed.
