KAILANI
Kailani by Harlequin. A watercolour landscape printed across the width of the cushion: a pale wash of sky in soft blue and cream at the top, a band of rust and terracotta where the hills sit, then olive and ochre running along the foreground. The colour bleeds the way it does on wet paper, so nothing has a hard edge.
The design runs horizontally, which is why it is cut as a long rectangle. In a square it would lose the horizon.
Piped in a pale natural, which keeps the edge quiet and lets the print do the talking.
35 x 65cm rectangle. Corners are tapered, fabric edges are overlocked and there is an invisible zip along the bottom edge. Handmade in my Devon workroom, available with or without a feather pad.
There is one cover only, so once it has gone it will not be repeated.
Rust, olive and soft blue is more of a Devon palette than a tropical one. It sits well against natural linen, oak and anything with a bit of earth in it.
Care Instructions
The irregularities and shade variations are characteristic of the fabric. Exact colour matching to previous orders cannot be guaranteed. Dry cleaning recommended.
