Pampulha is a New Zealand wool boucle from Mark Alexander, here in the green ochre colourway. The loops are tight and springy rather than shaggy, and the wool content means it holds its shape and improves with use rather than tiring.
Handmade in my Devon workroom with tapered corners, overlocked edges and an invisible zip along the bottom edge.
Cut from a limited length of fabric, so very few are made.
A wool boucle is the cushion you want in winter and do not object to in summer. The green ochre sits well with natural linen, dark wood and anything olive, and it wants no pattern anywhere near it.
Composition: 77% WO, 16% PC, 7% PL.
Care: dry clean recommended. Due to the handcrafted nature of the fabric, slight irregularities and shade variations are characteristic and not considered faults. Exact colour matching to previous orders cannot be guaranteed.
