Mitra in heather. A woven stripe with a herringbone texture running through it, in heather purple, deep plum, olive and cream, with fine dark lines drawn between the wider bands to keep it sharp rather than soft.
The stripes run vertically on the front and horizontally on the back, so one cushion gives you two looks depending on which way round you turn it.
55 x 55cm square. Corners are tapered, fabric edges are overlocked and there is an invisible zip along the bottom edge. Handmade in my Devon workroom, available with or without a feather pad.
Only a small number of covers were cut from this length of fabric, so once they have gone they will not be repeated.
The olive is what makes this one work harder than a plain purple would. It picks up the greens in a room, so it sits as well against sage or moss as it does on plain linen.
