Small Zebra is a Neisha Crosland design, her zebra stripe drawn small and pigment printed onto linen so the colour sits into the fibre rather than on top of it. This is the fuchsia colourway, a deep raspberry broken by brown and black, and the linen gives it a chalky finish that stops the pink turning sweet.
Available as a 55 x 55cm square and a 38 x 60cm rectangle, both piped, handmade in my Devon workroom with tapered corners, overlocked edges and an invisible zip along the bottom edge.
Cut from a limited length of fabric, so very few are made.
A strong pink is easier to place than people expect, as long as it has only one job in the room. Put it on a neutral or a deep green sofa and keep everything beside it plain.
Composition: 88% linen, 12% polyamide. Cushion pad: 100% duck feather.
Care: dry clean recommended. Due to the handcrafted nature of the fabric, slight irregularities and shade variations are characteristic and not considered faults. Exact colour matching to previous orders cannot be guaranteed.
