A drum floor cushion, 60cm across and 25cm high, covered in Nemesia by Casamance in burgundy. The foam inner is wrapped in a fire retardant lining to meet British fire regulations, so it is built to be sat on rather than looked at.
It works as an extra seat when more people arrive than you have chairs for, as a footstool the rest of the time, and as the one round thing in a room where everything else has corners.
Handmade in my Devon workroom.
A floor cushion is more forgiving than a stool. It can be pushed aside with a foot, it takes a child or a pair of legs without complaint, and a burgundy this deep does not show a winter of use.
60cm diameter, 25cm high.
Care: dry clean recommended. Due to the handcrafted nature of the fabric, slight irregularities and shade variations are characteristic and not considered faults. Exact colour matching to previous orders cannot be guaranteed.
