Reyes, pearl
Reyes in pearl by Larsen. A simple chevron embroidered in ivory thread onto a rustic oatmeal ground, tone on tone, so the pattern shows itself through texture and shadow rather than colour. From across a room it reads as a plain with something going on in it.
Larsen have always been weavers first and it shows in the hand of this one. The ground is slubby and substantial, the embroidery sits proud of it, and the two together give the cushion real weight.
Backed in Lille in macaroon, a soft plain that keeps the whole thing tonal.
40 x 60cm rectangle. Corners are tapered, fabric edges are overlocked and there is an invisible zip along the bottom edge. Handmade in my Devon workroom, available with or without a duck feather pad.
Only a small number of covers were cut from this length of fabric, so once they have gone they will not be repeated.
This is the cushion that makes a neutral scheme look considered rather than unfinished. It goes with everything, which is exactly why it is worth having.
Care Instructions
The irregularities and shade variations are characteristic of the fabric. Exact colour matching to previous orders cannot be guaranteed. Dry cleaning recommended.
