Nuala is a velvet scattered with large polka dots, woven over metallic yarns and spray dyed by hand so the ground shifts between grey, taupe and a soft blue green as you move past it. The hand dyeing means no two lengths come out quite the same. Agate is the muted colourway, backed here in a plain teal.
35 x 45cm, handmade in my Devon workroom with tapered corners, overlocked edges and an invisible zip along the bottom edge.

A spot this large reads as pattern from across a room and as texture close up, so it holds its own without shouting. Keep a second pattern away from it.
