Oxide is a grid of small diamonds in charcoal, slate and white, with the odd fleck of ochre. The print is deliberately blurred, as if the facets were seen through water, so some areas look crisp and others dissolve into soft grey clouds. On velvet the colours pick up a gentle sheen. The piping is a dark grey.
It's pattern without colour, so it sits happily in a grey, black and white room. I'd put it with plain charcoal velvet or a pale grey bouclé, where the blur softens the harder lines around it.
