Graphite is a deep charcoal, just short of black. The velvet pile softens it, so instead of a flat dark block you get a slightly lighter bloom across the surface and a darker edge where the cushion curves away. The piping is Iris in Graphite, matched to the velvet, so the outline is there but you hardly notice it.
A dark plain is useful for anchoring a pale sofa. I'd put Graphite behind something lighter and textured, such as Swing in Ice Blue or Apollo in Ice Blue, where the charcoal makes the silver in them look brighter. For a warmer mix, pair it with Ritz in Wood.
