Swing is all about the embroidery. Fine raised cords are laid in close parallel lines that curve and cross over each other in wide bands, so the front looks almost plaited. On Tobacco the ground is a mid brown and the cords are a few shades paler, a soft gold beige, which keeps it tonal. You notice the texture and movement before the colour. The fawn Iris piping picks up the lighter cord.

Because it's tonal it can sit next to something stronger. I'd pair it with a plain velvet such as Ritz in Wood, or with one of the darker fringed cushions in the range, such as Waltz in Slate, for contrast. It looks right on cream, stone or taupe upholstery. Pearl and Ice Blue are the paler versions.
